Wedding Season Trends 2023

As the 2022 wedding season has come to an end, so has some wedding season trends that have decided to stay in 2022. 2023 offers some new wedding season trends as well as some that continue to grow popularity. In this article, we’ll discuss five new 2023 wedding season trends that are in this year that you may consider for your marriage ceremony. Which one gravitates to you and your wedding this 2023 year.

Private First and Last Dances

2023 calls for more intimacy and privacy. Clients enjoy having an intimate private last dance, to end the night with their significant other. This mitigates the anxiety and pressure of having those dances in front of all of the guests. It gives you and your partner the chance to connect and enjoy the presence of each other. After a long day shared with family and friends it initiates a private moment for the two. Try this wedding season trend that provides an authentic approach to the beginning of a lifetime with your significant other.

Entertainment

Many clients book a DJ to interact with the guests and lead the event stress-free. A more recent popular wedding season trend also includes booking other forms of entertainment as well. From aerial performers, to dancers and live painters, new forms of entertainment have been a recent addition to the wedding trends. This keeps the guests entertained all night long through a variety of mediums. Live music is another form as some clients choose to book a live musician for part of their ceremony. This is a lovely addition as your guests could enjoy a live violinist to guide your party down the aisle. Maybe even during cocktail hour as guests are starting to find their seats. Following the violinist, the DJ gets the party started with music that will entertain your crowd and introductions to introduce your wedding party, and the newly married couple.

Color

Color seems to be a top 2023 wedding trend as mismatched colored bridesmaid dresses come into style and colored decorations popularize. You will see a lot of colored aisle decor, colored ceilings, and even more intricate and unique ceiling designs. Vibrancy, florals, and bright colors bring a fun and different approach to our 2023 wedding season. Look out for these styles at the weddings you attend this 2023.

Midday Ceremonies

Midday Ceremonies are the new in. With having a midday wedding, it gives enough time for guests to gather themselves, rest up, and be prepared to party all night long! Weddings can take up a lot of energy for those involved. Giving yourself an early start can be less stressful as you are halfway done with the hard stuff, halfway through the day. After the ceremony ends, enjoy the other half of the night just dancing and celebrating the newly weds. Which brings us to our next thing that is in store for 2023, the after party.

After Party

Let’s say you choose to have a midday ceremony. The afternoon begins and you and your party are already dancing your hearts out. By the time the party ends, it is still early as you decided to have an earlier ceremony, but you and the guests are not ready for the night to end. This is why after parties are the new in. To celebrate the new couple, what better way than to party all night with all of your favorite people there to commemorate the beginning of something new.
